From paper logs to real-time pallet tracking — the case for building instead of buying.

The result came first: a warehouse team that once tracked pallets on paper and spreadsheets now sees every pallet’s location in real time. That’s the short version of why PalletCore exists. Low-code let us build fast, without cutting corners

Building custom software used to mean months of development and a large budget. That’s no longer true. Low-code platforms let a small, focused team build a real, working application in a fraction of the time a traditional build would take.

This is how PalletCore came together. We used a low-code platform to build pallet tracking, location management, barcode printing, and role-based logins, then refined it based on how warehouse teams actually work day to day. Because we controlled the whole build, we could adjust fast when something wasn’t working, instead of filing a support ticket and waiting.

Ownership means the software keeps up with the business

Off-the-shelf software moves on its own schedule. Feature requests go into a queue, and there’s no guarantee your request ever gets built. When we own the product, we control the roadmap.

That matters most as a business grows. A warehouse operation running smoothly at ten pallets a day looks very different at ten thousand.
